Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of working
with a talented team of professionals at Century 21 Superstars.
I am proud of what everyone's hard work has allowed us to
accomplish and for the respect we have earned in the communities
we serve.
I have had the immense pleasure of
developing strong friendships both inside and outside of the
company. In addition to the many agents I consider friends, I have been fortunate to build
relationships with some extraordinary people in the industry,
including Rick Jorgensen and Jack Forness, former owners of
Century 21 Award, and Tom Kunz, the former president of Century
21 Award and the new CEO of Century 21 Corporation.
With these friendships as a foundation, Century 21 Award and Century 21 Superstars have
had many opportunities to interact with one another. Because of
our positions as market leaders in Southern California, we have often shared ideas, and many of the systems
that exist at Award and Superstars today were developed through
the open exchanges that have marked the history of the two
companies.

Without hesitation, one thing both companies have always been
committed to is the power of the Century 21 brand. We firmly
believe that no name does more to establish and reinforce our
credibility as real estate agents, and we are proud to be an
integral part of the world's most successful and best known real
estate brand.
Although our industry has seen many changes over the years, I
remain committed to the notion that success in this business is
ultimately about relationships. From clients to agents to
managers to staff… the ability to build bridges and support one
another forms the bond that breeds trust, success and
satisfaction.
The merger we are announcing today leverages the power of
America's leading real estate brand with the strength of two
dynamic, innovative, and highly successful companies. It is our
intention to continue to grow the strong names of Award and
Superstars by respecting the rich traditions of these two firms
while working to equip our agents with the most current tools,
technologies and ideas for success.
It is interesting to look at our roster of agents today and
compare it to just a few short years ago. While there are many
new names and faces, the common thread found in those succeeding
at a high level is a willingness to interact on a personal
level, embrace innovation and put the needs of our clients
first. That is the same philosophy that we bring to managing a
real estate company.
Over the course of the next few weeks, I look forward to
spending time with old friends and connecting with new ones. It
is my desire to work with all of you to build upon the legacy of
success that is the hallmark of Century 21 Award and Century 21
Superstars.
In closing, I want to thank you for your support. We understand
that success in real estate is still about relationships. We
promise to stay committed to those relationships, and to doing
the things necessary to help you reach your personal goals and
aspirations.
Regards,
Philip Romero
